Who is Tony Romo?

Antonio Ramiro Romo is a well-known sportscaster in the United States and a former quarterback in American football. He played for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL) for a total of 14 seasons.

He participated in collegiate football at Eastern Illinois, where he was a member of the team that went to the Ohio Valley Conference championship game in 2001 and earned the Walter Payton Award the year after that. In 2003, Romo became a Cowboy by joining the team as a free agent after being undrafted.

After starting his career as a backup quarterback with the Cowboys, Romo went on to become the team’s primary starting quarterback from 2006 through 2015.
