In the episode where Domenica was told that most of the group had already seen the photo, Dom stressed that she wasn’t upset about the old photo being unearthed, but rather, the way the topic was breached to her. Rather than approaching Dom directly about the photo, a member of the group bought it up at a group dinner party, and many cast members revealed that they had already seen the racy picture. The incident left many viewers outraged with the Australian Commercial Media Authority confirming receipt of 40 complaints, stating “most of the contacts referred to allegations of inappropriate sexual content or treatment of participants”.
