According to Sky News, Boris Johnson might step down as prime minister today.
After more than 50 resignations from all levels of government in the last few days, Boris Johnson has come under intense pressure to step down.
According to a source at No. 10, Johnson agreed to step down after speaking with Sir Graham Brady, the chairman of the Conservative backbench 1922 Committee.
The confirmation came shortly after Boris Johnsons newly appointed Education Secretary, Michelle Donelan resigned.
Defence Secretary, Ben Wallace had earlier withdrawn his support for Boris after Northern Ireland Secretary, Brandon Lewis resigned from his post.
