Harry Maguire Arrested: Greek authorities have detained Harry Maguire on charges of assaulting police during a dispute outside a nightclub.

After a brawl that broke out between Harry Maguire’s pals and other Englishmen outside of a pub in Mykonos, Greece, on Friday morning, Harry Maguire was taken into custody and charged with the incident.

The England international player went to the Greek island to unwind before the start of the new Premier League season after his team was eliminated from the Europa League in the semi-finals by Sevilla the previous week.

According to the Greek daily Proto Thema, he was taken into custody after an altercation that took place outside of a club on Thursday night. There has been no official remark made by the local police department as of yet.

The following is an excerpt from a statement released by Manchester United: “The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night.”

“We have been in contact with Harry, and he is providing the Greek authorities with his full cooperation at this time. There will be no additional remark forthcoming from us at this time.”
