Bias crime — Candice Felicia Hastings, 30, of the 400 block of Park Avenue, Eugene. Medford police arrested Hastings Sunday on charges of first-degree bias crime, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of menacing. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies additionally arrested Hastings on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of harassment, second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest. She was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday.
Drugs — Bryce Corey Leary, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Leary Sunday on charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine, manufacturing and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, felony unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and felony possession of less than an ounce of meth. He was booked in jail Sunday and released Monday on his own recognizance.
Strangulation — Eric Richard Moore, 56, of the 200 block of Fourth Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Moore Sunday on a charge of strangulation constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Tuesday.
Sex offender — Calvin Dawayne Nidever, 72, of the 300 block of North Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Nidever Sunday on a charge of felony failing to report as a sex offender. He was booked in jail Sunday and released Monday on his own recognizance.
Burglary — Ryan Scott Barrett, 33, of the 100 block of North Pacific Highway, Talent. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Barrett Monday on warrants charging him with second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and failing to appear in court on a previous misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in jail Monday and was no longer an inmate as of Tuesday.
Aggravated harassment — Nicole Lynn Epperson, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Epperson Monday on charges of aggravated harassment and interfering with police. She was booked in jail and released Monday on her own recognizance.
Vehicle theft — Kristopher Allen Pritchett, 39, of the 3600 block of Avenue C, White City. Pritchett appeared Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on new charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Pritchett Oct. 22 on charges of possessing a stolen vehicle, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked, first-degree theft and reckless driving. He was held in jail Tuesday.
