Daniel Levy on Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte
Levy wrote: “I write these notes before we play Arsenal and therefore without knowing what our final place will be in the league.
“We do know, however, that regardless of the next two fixtures, we shall be in Europe again – for the 16th time in 17 years.
“I’m not sure, earlier in the season, any of us thought we would be in this position. It is testament to the incredible work of our new coaching staff and the application and determination of our players.”
Top-four battle with Arsenal
Tottenham are now just a point behind Arsenal in fifth place in the Premier League table at the moment.
Spurs have favourable fixtures, and the mood in the Tottenham camp is that of optimism.
However, given that Arsenal have a one-point advantage, we think that it is the Gunners who are in the driver’s seat.
Tottenham have to win their final two Premier League games of the season and hope that Arsenal slip up.
There could still be a twist in the race for the top four this season.
