Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Cardi B, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Ariel Winter, Courteney Cox, More
Celebrities who have had plastic surgery are generally considered to conceal the truth at any cost. However, as celebrities ranging from Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Ariel Winter to Kelly Rowland and Courteney Cox have demonstrated, that presumption is not always correct.
These are some of the Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery
Some Hollywood celebrities and reality TV stars — hello, Real Housewives! — who have had cosmetic surgery are proud of it and enjoy celebrating it. Others just do not want to perpetuate the guilt associated with cosmetic treatments and see no sense in keeping them hidden. Then, of course, in situations like Heidi Montag’s ten operations in one day, the before and after photos would have rendered a denial impossible!
A nip/tuck or some facial fillers can sometimes help with aging; however, other celebrities have discussed getting nose jobs at a young age or breast enhancements or reductions that have helped with everything from confidence to pain relief. In other cases, the reason is purely cosmetic — liposuction for better abs for the best beach body; injections for plumper lips; chin implants for a balanced appearance. In other cases, celebrities such as TV journalist Julie Chen were advised that altering their appearance would improve their professions.
Jillian Michaels, on the other hand, has spoken about how exciting it was to undergo a nose operation at the age of 16. “And, to be honest, it did transform my life,” she remarked in 2015.

Stars have admitted to going too far with facelifts or having plastic surgery nightmares on occasion. Montag, for example, experienced health issues as a result of her surgery and had altered her views about beauty norms. She told Us in 2013 that she had contemplated not undergoing it after having some of her improvements undone by a different plastic surgeon.

“I simply didn’t want to go through surgery again because it was so terrible and something I never — I’m so sick of being the surgical lady. It was the last thing she wanted to do: bring it all up again; it had been such a nightmare in her life,” she explained. But she knew she had to do it:
The singer is candid about almost everything, including her history with plastic surgery. She disclosed she’d undergone a breast lift and liposuction after giving birth to her daughter, Kulture, in July 2018, and defended the decision in a May 2019 Instagram Live session. “Listen, I do whatever the f–k I want with my body,” she explained.
“Let me tell you a story, bitch. I don’t have as much time as you do. My profession as an entertainer, for example, is a 24-hour job, dude. So, no, I don’t have time to work out, and I wanted particular things that I know would not be corrected no matter how hard I work out…
No matter how hard I worked out, my boobs were not going to raise themselves. So, sure, I needed f–ng surgery.” However, after being forced to postpone multiple performances due to health issues, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper — who previously admitted to getting illicit butt injections — concluded it wasn’t worth it.
“I’ve been working out for the last two weeks because b**ch I ain’t getting surgery again:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy “However, let me tell you that I haven’t had a headache since.”
In May 2019, the Jersey Shore star disclosed that he underwent liposuction to improve his six-pack after the birth of his daughter, Ariana, the previous year. “I’ve always been a fitness addict, and I’ve always been in shape, but it takes a lot of hard work to stay in shape,” he stated in a video for The Doctors.
“My life dramatically altered a year ago to the day. I gave birth to a baby girl. She’s like my guardian angel, and I can’t go to the gym for two to three hours every day like I used to.”
Dr. Christopher Khorsandi, his surgeon, described the surgery as “laser high-definition liposuction of the belly.” As a result, “We’re going to be able to totally define that area in between each of his abs so that he truly has a six-pack for many, many years to come,” the pro said.
Vicki Gunvalson is an actress
The Real Housewives of Orange County actress has never been shy about her numerous face operations, including rhinoplasty, chin implant, and Botox. Gunvalson told Us Weekly in July 2018 that the eyelid blepharoplasty and facelift she had recently undergone will be her final operations. “Put a fork in it, I’m done!” she said. At the same time, the reality star had many of her fillers removed.
“I had a lot of fillers in my face and I didn’t feel like myself anymore,” she explained to Us. “I’ve had too many physicians say, at too many different times, ‘Let’s do this, let’s do that, fill here, Voluma, Sculptra,’ she says. And after I was finished, I glanced in the mirror and said, ‘I don’t even look like myself.'”

She’s got enough of fillers! “You have no idea because it happens gradually until you realize, ‘Oh, s—t.’ This does not appear to be correct.’ And it’s far terrible in photographs than it is in real life “In 2017, the Friends alum told New Beauty magazine. “All of my fillings have been dissolved.
I’m as natural as I possibly can be. I feel better since I appear to be myself. I believe I now resemble the person I once was. I’m hoping so.”
Kylie Jenner is a reality television star
In July 2016, the beauty guru finally acknowledged to using fillers to perk up her lips. In an Allure interview, Jenner was asked whether she had any beauty regrets, and she replied, “Well, I certainly made my lips a bit too large at one time.” Jenner said, “I became thrilled and felt like I needed to do a lot once my older sis consented.” And then you said, ‘Kylie, you need to calm.’ Then I had to go back and correct it, which was a ridiculous procedure. Thank goodness I didn’t wind up on Botched.”
“I’m two years older than my dad was when he died,” Fonda said of her actor father, Henry, who appeared in the 1981 film On Golden Pond. “Katharine Hepburn was three years my junior when she did the film. People appeared to be older back then. I wish I had the courage not to get plastic surgery, but I suppose I bought myself a decade.”
Iggy Azalea is a singer and songwriter from Australia
The rapper, who had previously revealed that she’d undergone breast augmentation, acknowledged to Seventeen in 2015 that she’d had a nose operation. “I’m not going to deny it. “It’s lame to deny it,” she told the mag. “I don’t think you should be ashamed if you change yourself, which is why I’ve talked about the modifications I’ve done, such as with my breasts.”
She did, however, mention that deciding on surgery is not an easy decision. “Plastic surgery is an emotional process,” said the Grammy winner. “It’s not simple to accept your defects and live with them — and it’s much more difficult to improve yourself.” It’s a difficult road, no matter how you look at it.
The Modern Family star had a breast reduction at the age of 17, which she claims helped relieve back discomfort and boost her confidence. “On [red carpets], I simply reminded myself, ‘You have to do your best to look confident and stand up tall, and make yourself seem as beautiful as you can in these photographs,'” she told Glamour. “I certainly appeared confident; after all, I’m an actor, and that’s what we do. But I wasn’t feeling so well on the inside.”
In September 2021, the model announced that she had surgery to eliminate fat from her face. “I did the Dr. Diamond buccal fat reduction thing here,” she said, pointing to her cheek in an Instagram Story video. “And since I stopped drinking, I’ve definitely noticed a difference, and I enjoy it. Yeah, I did that, what happened?” She wrote in the caption, “There is no shame in my dr diamond game.”
Buccal fat reduction, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgery, is intended to “thin the cheeks, particularly in the region of the cheek hollows.”
The Cravings cookbook author admitted to getting her breasts done as a teenage Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model – and then regretting it. Teigen told Glamour U.K. in March 2020, “I did my boobs when I was approximately 20 years old.” “It had more to do with a bikini. If I’m going to be posing while lying on my back, I want them to look perky!
But then you have babies, who fill up with milk and deflate, and I’m screwed.” The Lip Sync Battle co-host, who is typically honest, made her cosmetic surgery announcement lighthearted, teasing the big news from her Glamour cover story on Instagram. “Talk about a weight lifted off my shoulders!!!” she said.
The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend co-creator expressed her wish to have a breast reduction in April 2021, only weeks after the birth of her first kid.
“Capturing myself pre-breast reduction in @sleepoverbyesther,” she captioned a photo of herself on Instagram at the time. “(Oh, by the way, I’m probably going to get a breast reduction soon and I don’t want to hear any man’s disgusting views on that choice right now, and since there’s no way to filter comments from just males on this page, I’m shutting off comments for everyone to teach guys a lesson.)”
Four months later, the actress revealed that she had had the procedure. “I did it!” she posted two photographs in August 2021, one of which showed Bloom in the hospital with pre-surgery marks on her breast. The second photo saw the comic wrapped up as she began her recuperation.
The fashion designer had a facelift in July 2021 and posted a photo on Instagram the next day with his face covered in bandages. He captioned his photo, “Yesterday,” and included the hashtags #f*ckgravity and #livelovelift.
“I began many years ago,” Jacobs said to Vogue in July 2021 about his choice to have cosmetic surgery.
“I mean, there have been so many things that I’ve been honest about. For example, when I wore a baseball cap to an event, someone questioned me, ‘Why are you wearing a baseball cap?’ And I explained, ‘Well, I recently got a hair transplant.’ People were surprised and amused when I responded.”
“But, honestly,” he added, “what’s the difference?” “I’m not hiding my face. I don’t have any sunglasses on. I’m not hiding anything. I have scars around my ears, my face is bloated, and I have a damaged neck, yet I continue to post on Instagram. I don’t even perceive it as an attempt to be open. I’m doing what I always do: live my life and sharing it with everyone who is interested.” A week after the operation, the fashion designer stated that she is “extremely satisfied” with the results and is in the process of recovering.
In June 2021, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum stated that she has opted to get her breast implants removed owing to “autoimmune problems.” She disclosed in an Instagram Story set to ‘Nsync’s “Bye Bye Bye,” that she was having them removed. The reality star provided an update on her recovery journey the following month. “Implants and capsules have been removed. As predicted, I’m weary and a bit painful. “I’m quite sure not working out will be the most difficult aspect for me,” she said on Instagram.
While she waited for the swelling to go down, she focused on “positive thoughts.” “ I’m hopeful that my health will continue to improve as the weeks pass.” I just returned home after seeing @dr ambe, and everything seems fine.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Khloe Kardashian
During the second installment of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021, the reality star revealed the work she’d had done.
“Everyone says to me, ‘Oh my god, she’s had her third face transplant.’ But I’ve had one nose operation — Dr. Raj Kinodia — and everyone is so unhappy that I’m like, ‘Why don’t I talk about it?'” she told Andy Cohen. “I’ve never been asked. You’re the first person in an interview to ever inquire about my nose. Sure, I’ve had injections, but not Botox. I’ve had a terrible reaction to Botox.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Cassie Randolph
In May 2021, the Bachelor alum revealed that she had previously gotten fillers and Botox.
“I’m not scared to be upfront and honest about these things because I don’t want to be. Personally, I prefer to keep things as natural as possible — err on the side of less is more, but to each, his own “Randolph stated her reasoning in a video posted to her YouTube account. “I don’t see the sense in worrying about what one individual decides or does not choose to do. You are free to do whatever you choose.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Jana Kramer
The One Tree Hill actress teased her social media fans about her upcoming breast augmentation procedure in March 2021.
“I’d like to be clear about WHY. First and foremost, because ‘I’ want to. “That should be enough, but I feel like I need to clarify the ‘I’ part,” she said at the time in an Instagram post.
One month later, she updated followers on how she was coping with the procedure while simultaneously separating from Mike Caussin. “It’s awful timing recovering while going through that,” she remarked at the time on her Instagram Stories. “But, sure, two more weeks and I’ll be completely cleared.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Jessie James Decker
In May 2021, the former reality star stunned fans by revealing her breast augmentation.
“I spoiled myself… with new boobies! I was finally ready to go big or go home when we decided we were done having babies!” Decker made the announcement on Instagram at the moment. “I had a breast reduction and lift a few years ago when they were hanging down to my belly button, but I opted to do it since I had such elastic skin and wasn’t satisfied with the size. They were so large and perky before kids that I wanted them back… and then some.”
Decker was “overjoyed” with the outcome. “I feel fantastic,” she said at the end. “When I was putting on our new @kittenish swim and loved the way they finally filled out the tops as I wanted, I felt like a completely new woman. It’s not for everyone, but it was surely for me! I often tell people, “Do you” and “Do what makes you feel confident and attractive.” #YOLO.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Dolores Catania
“It’s not a question of what I required; it’s a question of what I desired. I’m not interested in what other people believe I need in my life. During a March 2021 episode of the “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast, Catania told Us about boyfriend David Principe’s reaction to her cosmetic surgery.
“He was truly enraged. He was furious at me and wouldn’t let up. I let him be furious for a time before saying, ‘Listen, you either live with it or we have to go on.’ There has been some tension, familial turmoil, and relational fractures.”
The reality personality said that she underwent stomach tuck surgery, breast augmentation, a facelift, liposuction, and a Brazilian butt lift.

“As I lay here for days recovering from my Xmas boob lift and augmentation (yes it’s a skims velour suit and it feels like heaven) all I can wonder is how the f the Kardashians find the time to recover from all their work,” she captioned an Instagram selfie. “The other thing is…I can’t wait to show off the new and improved girls.”
McSweeney previously divulged in September 2020 that she had rhinoplasty and septoplasty. “I could not be happier,” she told fans via her Instagram Stories of her nose job. “I’ve been wanting one for so freaking long and now I can also breathe, which is great.”

I did butt to enlarge it. I got botox. I blew my nose. I pursed my lips. I contoured my cheekbones. I worked on my chin “Earlier this year, she appeared on an episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? “I am a new woman, and I am overjoyed.”
Tisdale stated in August 2020 that she underwent a breast augmentation operation to remove her implants in the winter of 2019. “I believe this is the most intimate post I’ve ever shared. As you are aware, I have been extremely open about my mental health journey, and I believe that this is just as essential.
“I had breast augmentation surgery years ago,” she said on Instagram. “Prior to the surgery, I always felt like my body was less than, and I hoped that this transformation would help me feel more entire and confident in myself. And for a little moment…it did.”
“But little by little, I began battling with small health concerns that simply weren’t adding up – food allergies as well as digestive troubles (full story on [my blog] @frenshe) that I felt may be caused by my implants,” the former Disney actress said. So I opted to get my implants removed last winter.”
After finishing season 12 of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City, the Real Housewives of New York City actress published her before and after photographs in July 2020, revealing she had a facelift and neck lift. “Because it was so mild, many assumed I was crazy. “But not to me,” Morgan said on Instagram. “It was a no-brainer — gravity had taken its toll, I was tired, and I needed a ‘pick me up.’”
Teresa and Joe Giudice’s daughter disclosed on Instagram in July 2020 that she had a nose operation. Gia was 19 years old at the time of the surgery.
“I did get a nose job. Yes, I’m swollen,” she said. “Many thanks, @drtobiasnyc. I’m totally in love with it. I’m a grownup now, and this has been an insecurity of mine for a long time. I’ve never been happier or more at ease in my own skin!!”
In February 2020, the reality star announced on Instagram that she had a boob surgery, complimenting the same plastic surgeon who worked on former Jersey Shore: Family Vacation costar Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s breast augmentation in 2016. “My boobies are now my favorite part of my body,” Pivarnick said in the post.
In her January 2020 biography, Open Book, the fashion designer disclosed that she underwent two stomach tucks in 2015. “I wanted to get rid of the stretch marks and sagging skin caused by my back-to-back pregnancies,” she wrote. “At this time, I was so embarrassed about my body that I wouldn’t let Eric see me without a white T-shirt on.”
However, problems occurred during the second operation, and she was hospitalized for nine days. “I had an illness — colitis — and was vomiting so violently that I worried I’d blow my sutures….” Doctors discussed the possibility of my requiring a blood transfusion.”

Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Dina Manzo
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum admitted she had nose surgery after fans questioned her appearance in December 2019.
“When the thing in the middle of your face changes, you’ll look different lol. “I had my nose repaired two years ago,” she wrote at the time. “I despise fillers, and they’re so costly… I’ll leave it at that because @drghavami likes to say “keep em guessing.” I had a difficult time adapting to my new nose, especially during the first year. Despite the fact that my doctor is great at what he does, it did affect my overall appearance. I used to have a large Italian rounder nose, but now I have this wonderfully balanced tiny nose.
It’s a significant change, especially after 45 years of living with the same face.”
Manzo also stated that she enjoys Botox.
“I’m really pleased with how I care for myself,” she added. “I eat well, exercise, and focus on my mind and soul equally as much, if not more. That is the MOST important factor in keeping you youthful and glowing.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Sharon Osbourne
On The Talk’s season 10 debut on September 9, 2019, the host revealed that she had a facelift in August. “I had my procedure five weeks ago today,” she explained. “I had my neck and jowls done… He yanked it off the top of my head and wrapped it in an elastic band.
However, everything was just pulled up. As a result, it seems more refreshed.” And, despite her discomfort, she thought it was worth it for the results: “You can’t whine about pain when you wanted to achieve something!” Osbourne, who has previously discussed prior cosmetic operations, stated in June 2019 that she planned to get the surgery done over her summer vacation.
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Jane Seymour
To maintain her young appearance, the actress depends on food and exercise rather than surgery. In 2014, she told ET, “I tried Botox once and loathed it.” “It was the worst thing I’d ever seen.” She did, however, state that she is not opposed to all improvements, admitting that she underwent breast enlargement surgery to restore “what the kids ate.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Julie Chen
The journalist confessed on The Talk in 2013 that she underwent surgery to make her “Asian eyes” seem larger after receiving discriminatory criticism from an employer when she was 25 years old. “I was a local news reporter in Dayton, Ohio “According to the Chinese-American television personality.
“Over the holidays, I asked my news director, ‘If anchors choose to take vacations, might I fill in?’ ‘You will never be on this anchor desk because you are Chinese,’ he remarked.” She went on to say: “‘Let’s face it, Julie, how relatable are you to our community?’ he remarked.
How large is the Asian community in Dayton? ‘On top of that, because of your background, because of your Asian eyes, I’ve seen that when you’re on camera and interviewing someone, you seem indifferent, bored.'” When she was looking for an agency, she received similar criticism and opted to get eye surgery.
Despite feeling torn about her decision at the moment, the ambitious actress has no regrets. “No one is more proud of being Chinese than I am,” she remarked after revealing her secret. “Every decision I’ve taken… has gotten [me] to where we are now, and I’m not going back.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Kelly Roland
Rowland took her choice to have breast augmentation surgery extremely seriously. “I wanted breast implants when I was 18, but my mum and Beyoncé’s parents both urged me to think about it first,” the Destiny’s Child alum told Shape magazine in 2013. “I listened to their advice and waited ten years.”
Even when she made her decision, she proceeded with caution. “Once I felt ready, I put on padded bras and went around in them to see how they felt,” she continued. “You have to know what you’re getting, regardless of the sort of surgery.”
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Heidi Montag
The Hills beauty notoriously underwent ten operations in one day in late 2009, including breast implants to get her up to an F cup, a brow lift, a nose surgery update, lipo on her stomach and thighs, and butt augmentation, and revealed the news and photographs in March 2010.
Three years later, she was plagued by regrets and health issues as a result. “I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into,” the reality star told Us in 2013, after having part of her procedure reversed. “It just seems so small when you have a surgeon telling you so much of it, like, ‘OK, fantastic, a little of this, a little of that.’ You’re not warned about the recuperation period or the mental strain it will have on you, and the long term.
Celebrities That Admitted They Had Plastic Surgery: Ashlee Simpson
The actress has never officially acknowledged that she underwent nose surgery in the spring of 2006. She did, however, tell Us Weekly in the years thereafter that her bridge had been surgically reduced. “You probably know the answer as long as people have two eyes,” Simpson told Us.
