Briana DeJesus broke up with boyfriend Bobby Scott during an emotional scene aired on Tuesday, November 29 episode of “Teen Mom: Next Chapter.”

DeJesus decided to end things with Scott after not reaching out to her for three weeks. When DeJesus confronted Scott about the lack of communication, he tried to explain to her that he was honoring her request for space in the relationship.

After the episode aired, DeJesus took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the breakup, sharing that she wishes she was more expressive about her feelings.

The “Teen Mom” ​​star expressed regret over how she’d handled the breakup in a series of later-deleted tweets reshared by a Teen Mom fan account on 11/30

“I’ve already seen tonight’s episode (teen mom) and wish I could be more vocal about the whole situation,” she wrote in a tweet. “Likewise[,] I don’t need to talk about it [people] explaining her side of things… that was an ick for me! lol.”

In another tweet, DeJesus admitted that she was to blame because she expected Scott to handle the situation the way she would have.

“If my partner has expressed that they are sad and need space (I take that as a cry for help and [I’ll] be on the next flight to show them that [I’m] there),” she wrote.

She continued, “Maybe it’s my fault for expecting others to do what I would do and setting them up for failure.”

DeJesus then revealed that she felt “triggered” by Scott’s lack of communication from her past relationships with men.

“Nobody in my life (male character) has [ever] was really there for me so it’s hard to believe words,” she wrote in a tweet. “I could never count on it [men]..So [three] Weeks without talking triggered me and I had to run.”

Lute! newsDeJesus revealed during an Instagram Q&A that she and Scott haven’t spoken to each other since filming the breakup scene.

“That was the last time I saw him,” she told her followers, E! messages reported.

Teen Mom fans are unhappy with Briana’s handling of the breakup

DeJesus wasn’t the only one grappling with how the breakup went.

The Official Teen Mom Instagram Account shared a clip of the breakup scene on Instagram and fans weren’t happy with how DeJesus handled the situation.

“Brianna, he’s not a mind reader.” commented one fan. “You could have expressed your thoughts clearly. You must grow up ma’am.”

“No one needs to ‘investigate’ if something isn’t right.” wrote another fan. “He said ‘[I] love you and [I’m] here. That means SPEAK baby girl. He sounds like a good man, doesn’t he [lose] him.”

“He’s too mature for her 🤦🏻‍♀️”, added a third user. “Sister, if you have a good one, don’t be picky [about] everything 🤦🏻‍♀️.”
