Rapper and internet sensation Danielle Bregoli hails from the United States of America. Her appearance on Dr. Phil in September 2016, during which she used the words “Cash me outside, how bout dah?” which later became a viral video meme and catchphrase, was the initial event that brought her to the public’s attention.
With the release of her debut single “These Heaux” in 2017, Bregoli set a record for becoming the youngest female rapper to ever make it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After then, she entered into a recording contract with Atlantic Records, and since then, she has established a reality show, a makeup brand, concert tours, and a successful music career. 15 was Bregoli’s debut mixtape, and it was released in September 2018. “Hi Bich,” the album’s lead track, marked her second entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after it was released.
Danielle Bregoli Life and Career
Bregoli spent his childhood in the city of Boynton Beach in Florida, where he was born. Ira Peskowitz and Barbara Ann Bregoli dated for a year before Barbara became pregnant with her daughter. After their daughter was born, they divorced when she was a young child. Her mother is of Italian heritage, while her Ashkenazi Jewish father is a member of the Jewish Ashkenazi sect. Bregoli was brought up in a home that adhered to the Catholic faith primarily by her mother. Bregoli’s father, who is a deputy who works for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, is no longer in her life. She has two younger half-brothers who are related to her through her father.
Bregoli was initially met with resistance from the business after being represented by music manager Adam Kluger at the beginning of 2017.
By March of 2017, it was estimated that Bregoli’s personal wealth was in the amount of $200,000.
On August 24, 2017, Bregoli disseminated her debut track, titled “These Heaux” (which she called “hoes”). As a result of the recording’s position on the Billboard Hot 100 (it debuted at number 77), Bregoli became the youngest female rap artist ever to make her debut on the music chart. Following the critical and commercial success of “These Heaux,” Atlantic Records offered Bregoli a recording deal for multiple albums. In September of 2017, she released a remix of the song “Roll in Peace” by Kodak Black as well as the song “From the D to the A” by Tee Grizzley and Lil Yachty. She released “Hi Bich” on September 22, 2017, and it peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The following day, she released “Whachu Know” as a single alongside the video, and it was viewed more than 3 million times within the first 24 hours. After taking a more brief gap, she came out with another song on November 30, 2017, titled “I Got It.” This was followed by the release of “Mama Don’t Worry (Still Ain’t Dirty)” in December. The latter song is one in which she raps about her history and suggests that her participation on Dr. Phil should be forgotten. This idea is brought up again in the music video for “Both of Em,” in which she can be seen burying herself in a relatively little grave. She makes her debut as a collaborator with other artists on the song “Hi Bich (Remix),” which features YBN Nahmir, Rich the Kid, and Asian Doll, among others (in the video, YBN Nahmir was replaced by MadeinTYO for unknown reasons).
She released a new song on her birthday, “Gucci Flip Flops,” featuring Lil Yachty. The song was a celebration of her 26th year on this planet. Two days later, the RIAA awarded her single “Hi Bich” with the gold certification for digital sales achievement. Midway through the month of April, she dropped a freestyle under the name “Who Run It.”
On April 14, 2018, she launched her maiden tour across North America and Europe, which she was doing in conjunction with Asian Doll, performing the first and second legs of the tour.
On May 2, 2018, the music video for the song titled “Gucci Flip Flops” was made available online. After the music video was made public, the song quickly gained popularity all over the world. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at position 80 and reached its highest position of number 79, making it her third charting single overall on the chart. She was nominated for a Billboard Music Award in 2018, alongside Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, in the category of Best Female Rap Artist.
Bregoli came out with a new track on June 14, 2018, titled “Trust Me,” which featured Ty Dolla Sign. The music video for her single “Trust Me” was uploaded on her YouTube channel on July 26, and it featured cameos from Bella Thorne and Theo Von.
Bregoli made the announcement on her forthcoming mixtape 15 on August 14, 2018. It would include cameos from Lil Yachty, Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Lil Baby, City Girls, and Asian Doll, among others. The following day, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded her single “Gucci Flip Flops” with the gold certification for reaching a certain sales threshold.
Bregoli published her newest song on August 30, 2018, and it was titled “Yung and Bhad” and featured City Girls. She released the music video for Thot Opps (Clout Drop) and Bout That two days before the release of her debut mixtape. On September 18, 2018, she made her 15th album available. After the release of her track “Geek’d,” which featured Lil Baby, she followed it up with the release of a music video two days later. Other songs from the album, such as “No More Love,” “Famous,” “Count It,” and “Shhh,” have been made available on YouTube in the form of video clips. The song “Juice,” which featured the rapper YG, was released by her on October 17. YG does not make an appearance in the music video for “Juice,” which was also recently released. The video features a cameo by Cris Cyborg, the current champion of the UFC Women’s Featherweight Division.
She began the third and fourth legs of her tour on November 6, 2018, beginning on the west coast of the United States and then moving on to Australia and New Zealand respectively. Bregoli’s stage presence was praised by critics, with some even drawing parallels between her and Britney Spears in the early stages of her career. The tour received generally positive feedback.
At the launch party for Cardi B’s fashion line, Fashion Nova, on November 16, she threw her drink at fellow rapper Iggy Azalea and attempted to physically assault her. This incident sparked a firestorm of controversy. Bregoli explained to the paparazzi that the reason she did it was because of previous comments Azalea had made on Instagram, and Azalea responded with a series of tweets criticizing Bregoli’s actions.
Bregoli opened an account on OnlyFans on April 1, 2021, which was six days after her eighteenth birthday. She made over $1 million in revenue in the first six hours, which included over $757,000 in subscription revenue, $267,000 in revenue from message payment revenue, and $5,000 in tip revenue. She eventually presented evidence of earnings that were greater than $50 million, which was met with additional suspicion from the audience.
On April 4, TMZ stated that she and Paris Hilton were working together on a program for disturbed kids that would concentrate on the abuse that troubled teens face when attending camps.
She established her own record company, Bhad Music, in September 2021, and said that she will soon be releasing her upcoming debut EP through the label. Her first single of 2021 was titled “Miss Understood,” and it was released on September 17. It reached its highest position on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart at number 8. It is planned to serve as the debut single from her soon-to-be-released debut EP.
