Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski emphasized the team is still following the plan as it relates to Jacoby Brissett and Deshaun Watson.

BEREAThe Browns received some reinforcements on Saturday when they activated rookie receiver David Bell and veteran linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. off of the injury lists on which they’ve spent all training camp.

Bell, the third-round pick out of Purdue, was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list with a foot injury on July 22, the day the rookies reported for camp. Walker was placed on the non-football injury list with a groin injury on July 26, the day veterans reported.

Cornerback Denzel Ward (foot) is currently the only player on the PUP list. Defensive tackle Sheldon Day (back) is still on the NFI list and wide receiver Javon Wims remains on the non-football illness list.

Bell’s return will provide a boost to a receiving corps which has been riddled with injuries throughout camp. Anthony Schwartz, who went down with a knee strain on the second day of camp, is another whose return is expected to occur soon.
