Now, Fisher is out after serving a seven-year sentence in jail, getting married, and having two children during that time. She freely admits that she had some assistance from a cosmetic surgeon, and as a result, she is now self-assured, unrepentant, and even more divisive than before.

In an interview with John Quinones for “We talk, we don’t talk, we have a lot of history, we’re friends, we’re not friends, we love each other, we hate each other,” Fisher said, “Good Morning America.”

She is curious as to why she believes there has been such an obsession with the two of them. She laughed as she described the situation, describing it as “We’re a train wreck,” “That’s it.”

And what about Mary Jo? “You are aware of what? Mary Jo and I have resolved our issues, and the matter is now closed, as you may be aware. After we had that conversation, I swore to myself that we would never bring it up again.”

The most recent run-in with fame for Fisher occurred at the tail end of the previous year when her husband at the time, Lou Bellara, who had separated from her, sold a sex video of themselves engaging in sexual activity with Fisher.

Bellara was upset that Fisher and Buttafuoco had publicly acknowledged their renewed romantic interest in one another in May, while she and Bellara were in the process of ending their relationship. As a result, Bellara decided to sell the tape.

“You are aware that this was published by my spouse. And, you are aware of what? It may be found elsewhere. I am presented with two options. I can just sit here and declare that it doesn’t exist, despite the fact that you already know that it does. Or I may act in a manner befitting my intelligence.” Which for Fisher means making the most of the circumstances and earning money as a result.

She stated, “I mean, incredibly, you know, a sex video comes out, and the next thing I know, I mean I’m getting offers for endorsements.” “I mean, astonishingly, you know, a sex tape comes out and the next thing I know, I mean I’m receiving “I mean, they pay me to be there, which lends publicity to their club and a lot of people come down. You know, I think it attracts a lot of people down. And as you well know, this is a positive development. Everyone will have a good time doing it.”

Fisher claims that she is not interested in being in the public eye, but she goes on to state, “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like the money.”

Fisher now resides in a gated enclave on Long Island, New York, with Bellara and their two children. Fisher and Bellara found each other on Match.com.

She let him know everything about her notorious history on their first date, but he claims that it didn’t bother him at all. “Even as he was eating spaghetti, he didn’t bother to glance up. It was like OK. And that was the end of it, “— I quote her.

Fisher claims that the seven years she spent serving a sentence for a serious crime did not teach her anything. “I discovered that I did not like it, and as a result, I do not want to return to it. That is all. You won’t pick up any useful skills in there (the jail).”

Fisher is now making an effort to lead a regular life. She has the goal of being a standard suburban housewife, but she is realistic enough to know that this won’t happen.

“To tell you the truth, in a perfect world, I wouldn’t have to do anything but stay home and raise my children. In all honesty, that kind of thing never occurs. The phone continues to ring even after I tell myself that I am going to stop, that I am not going to do it, and that I am simply going to remain at home.”
